Integrity

The ability of a specimen of a separating element to contain a fire to sepecified criteria for collapse, freedom from holes, cracks and fissures and sustained flaming on the unexposed face.

Insulation

The ability of a specimen of a separating element to restrict the temperature rise of the exposed face to below specified levels (140oC mean rise, 100oC max rise).

Stability

The ability of a ductwork system to remain in place. (Please note that within AS 1530: Part 4, Stability is decribed by the term Structural adequacy).
